Legs Up The Wall Pose

Instructions:

  1. Lie flat on your back with legs extended on a level floor.
  2. Position both hands beside your legs with palms facing downward.
  3. Lift legs upward while simultaneously raising hips; support hips with hands and rest elbows on the ground.
  4. Continue raising legs vertically until your chest approaches 6-8 inches from your chin, maintaining normal breathing.
  5. Stay in this position for 5-10 minutes. Complete the pose by resting in Corpse pose.

Benefits: Makes the back and abdominal muscles strong and neutralizes accumulated gas and releases it. Stimulates abdominal organs and digestion. Relieves tired legs and feet and also leg cramps. Enhances blood circulation to the upper body.
